To obtain a Russian travel visa you need to get an official tourist invitation (visa support letter) from an authorized Russian party. The official tourist invitation includes a tourist voucher (for hotel reservation) and Confirmation of Incoming for individual/group.
To provide you with a visa support letter the following information should be sent by e-mail or fax:
· Full name of tourist
· Sex/Title
· Citizenship
· Date of birth
· Passport number and passport expiry date*
· Date of entry (to Russia)
· Date of exit (from Russia)
· Cities to be visited
· Hotel name
· Name of tour leader (for groups)
· Fax & telephone number, including country code
* The passport should be expired minimum within tree months after supposed end of the trip.
Argo Travel Team may send visa support letter to you personally or to Russian consulate in your country. It's necessary to check with the Russian consulate if they accept copies of invitations or only originals.
After getting these documents you may go to the Russian consulate to obtain Russian travel visa.
To obtain Russian travel visa you need to have:
- A copy of your passport
- Passport itself
- Photographs 3x4 with a matt finish (coloured or not)
- Tourist voucher and confirmation of incoming for individual/group from the inviting organization in Russia
- Russian visa application form, completed and signed
- Consular duty payment confirmation
It should be noted that a consulate reserves the right to require some additional documents at its discretion.
Applicants are advised to apply well in advance as not all consulates offer same day services and the process of getting visa may takes from 1 up to 21 days. Please note that the inviting company is written on your invitation.
Terms and conditions
- The visa support letter is issued only under condition of traveler’s accommodation in the hotels and providing foreign citizens with visa registrations.
- The visa support letter is issued for terms according to the program of travelers staying on the territory of Russia but no longer than for terms of staying in hotels and moving by transport on the territory of Russia confirmed by appropriate travel papers.
- Also it may be given under condition of 100% prepayment for hotel accommodation.
- In case hotel is not booked through Argo Travel Team, visa support letter cannot be provided.
- It will take not less than 24 hours to issue visa support letter from the moment of 100% prepayment for hotel accommodation for the whole period of the traveler staying in the hotel due to the program.
- If it is necessary to get the visa support letter in the form of document by mail it will be sent at the customer’s expense.
The payment can be carried out:
- by bank transfer (please send us a copy of the payment order from your bank)
- by cash (in our office)
- by other methods which are agreed by both sides
We reserve the right to delay or cancel your request if payments are not confirmed.
In case of change your order after all the documents were sent to client or consulate, you will have to pay a fee that is determined individually. Please send your requests to cancel or to change your order only by fax or e-mail.
In case of travel cancellation, when visa support letter service is done, the penalty is charged in the amount of the first night accommodation price from the traveler.
