After your arriving at “Pulkovo-2” (St Petersburg international airport) you pass through passport control. After they stamp your passport, you may say “SPA-SEE-BA” that means “thank you”. You should try to get to passport control as fast as possible to avoid wasting your time in long queues and to be able to take your luggage from transporter faster.
After you get your luggage, you go to the lobby of airport – the place for meeting. If you ordered a guide, he will be there. For getting the city you’d better order a transfer. But taxi or mini bus (marshrutka) is also available. Mini bus T-13 will bring you to Moskovskaya Metro Station. To go to metro you may buy a metro token or a metro pass from a cashier.
Important. On the plane, they should have given you customs declaration sheet. Declare all your cash! Along with things of significant value: gems, laptop computers, etc. You must have this document officially stamped by a customs representative. Then you keep this document. It's very important that you not lose it. When it is time for you to leave, you will need to show this document. It allows you to keep your surplus cash (and other things) from your visit.
